A born entertainer.
Since his debut for Northamptonshire in 1997, Swanny has been giving the ball a rip and attacking freely with the bat. A County Championship winner for Notts in 2005, he was England’s leading wicket-taker when they won the 2010 ICC World Twenty20 - either side of winning the Ashes at home and Down Under. With more than 200 Test wickets, he now has only Derek Underwood ahead of him in the list of England spinners.
Married to Sarah and with two young children, if Swanny’s isn’t playing cricket, he’ll be following his beloved Newcastle United or fronting up his band Dr Comfort and the Lurid Revelations. Expect to see an appearance or two from them at his events this year...
